Normally the things I say and the talking back is focused at my Mom. I love her and I appreciate her, but sometimes I just get annoyed and talk back or have a wrong tone of voice.
Proverbs 29:20, 22
There is more hope for a fool
than for someone who speaks without thinking.
An angry person starts fights;
a hot-tempered person commits all kinds of sin.
than for someone who speaks without thinking.
An angry person starts fights;
a hot-tempered person commits all kinds of sin.
This verse really spoke to me and made me realize that when I speak out in anger I am being foolish and sinning. How easy it is to be angry and just spout out harsh words- I have to say it never felt good to say the wrong things I do. I always regret saying them once I did. It takes a wise person to hold their tongue and say kind things in return. And I have to say it will leave you feeling better about yourself as well and you truly will be in a better mood!
So, the next time you catch yourself ready to get angry and say some harsh things in anger- think of the results and hold your tongue. Ask God to give you the right attitude and keep a good mindset!
Thanks for reading!! :)

Britt I love how your blog is always so down to earth. And never do you ever make it sound as if you're better than anyone else. You are willing to point out your own problems and how you deal with them and encourage others through that testimony. I just wanted to let you know you are so awesome. And I love your blog...adn how it is totally always your blog title! "Encouragement for everyday struggles" Love you girl!
