Weekly Character Challenge- Courage {Week 31}

I know I haven't done a Weekly Character Challenge for quite some time, so I thought I would do one for this week. This week I'm starting up college so I thought I would have this weekly challenge be COURAGE.


Be courageous this week and trust in God. 
Don't be afraid because He is with you 
When we have God on our side there is nothing to be afraid of. 
Pray and ask God to help you overcome the obstacles of this week. 
Don't get worried about the future but remained focused just on today. 
Take one day at a time and focus on God through it. 

One song that I thought might help you this week is a song by Mandisa called Overcomer. It has encouraged me to overcome what God has called me to do and be courageous. I hope that this song might encourage you this week to overcome the obstacles that God will bring your way. Every person's week will be different, but if we are trusting in God we all will be brought through to the other side and given the courage to face the weeks to follow.

We may not be able to accomplish everything on our own, but with God's help and strength we can do things that are not possible in our own strength. So this week be courageous and confident. Keep trusting in God to help you overcome the upcoming week's events.

Be strong and of good courage, do not fear or be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.

    Thanks for your post this morning. My youngest is starting her senior year of high school today and I needed that encouragement. As a mother, it seems time flies by and before you know it your baby is all grown up. That is my challenge today and may be my challenge for the year, to get a grip on the idea she is now grown. :)

It is weird how the time flies by, but for me right now, I wonder why it's taking so long..haha. I'll be praying for your daughter starting her new year in senior high. And also for you too!!!
