When It Feels Impossible [poem]

Sometimes I look at my life and see all my flaws
I compare my behind-the-scenes life to other people's applause
I feel worthless, untalented and unqualified
I wish something I did would qualify
I wish something I did would be admired
Something that somebody actually desired
Feeling so low recently in my talents
Wondering if I'll ever meet all the requirements
Finding it hard to be patient for God's timing
It seems so easy to give up and not keep trying
Sometimes the future seems far-fetched and distant
But even though it seems like we're in it alone, God's still existent
We may feel broken, tired and weak
But God is our strength even when things seem dark and bleak
Sometimes it's hard to trust God when we don't know what He expects
But as long as we keep trusting and praying, He'll show us what we need to do next
Each day may bring worries of what is to come
But even through the hardest day, with God, we can overcome
Leave your worries behind and move forward
Forget your past mistakes and failures and move onward
Don't be afraid to hope for the impossible
Because when we feel unqualified and weak, God can still do the impossible!

  6. So beautiful. I always wonder as to what He has in store for me, because in two years I'm going to have to send in college and university applications and I honestly have no clue what to major in... Well I'll just have to wait and see.

    xoxo Morning
