I Won't Give You More Than You Can Take

Sorry I haven't been on my blog the past few days. I've had inspiration to write, but I haven't felt well enough to post. Sunday was pretty bad- I decided to go to the eye doctor since one of my eyes felt strained and my headaches were still present. I found out that I needed glasses since I'm somewhat nearsided. I wanted to get the contact lenses, but they were too expensive and some other various reasons as well. I felt like my heart sunk...having to wear glasses makes me feel even worse about my appearance- especially with going away to college for the first time this fall. Also having my braces on for college as well. I felt like it was hard to take it in. Sunday and yesterday have been pretty bad pain-wise- my eyes and head hurt and nothing seems to be helping it much. I know God has a plan for what I'm going through but it is so hard not knowing how much longer it will last. I just have to keep believing and knowing that whatever He is doing is for the best. I'd really appreciate any prayers :) I have been having a hard time waiting for God to work and not knowing when He will relieve me from the struggles.

If you feel like you are going through something right now in your own life but you feel lost, along, like you are left facing your troubles alone and you don't know how you can take it anymore- know God will not give you more than you can handle. He sees the pain and suffering you are going through and He will never leave your side. Don't lose hope or give up because your battle will soon pass. This life is temporary and will fade away, but how you react and what you did for God will remain. Don't let circumstances take your joy or make you doubt God. When you feel let down and disappointed with the choices God makes- know that He sees the big picture and He knows what is best for you when all you see is a speck in the big plan.

Keep trusting in God and He will ease your problems in His timing. I like the line from the song "He Said" by Group1Crew - "I won't give you more than you can take, I might let you bend, but I won't let you break."

Well, I hope that what I wrote could encourage you and help you in the stage of life you are in. Thanks for dropping by my blog. Hopefully I'll be able to get on my blog in a few days or so. : )

  2. Praying for you!! It's easy to get frustrated in God's plans and timing, because His are usually so different from our's. I am going through something very similar. I heard that song you mentioned on the radio the other day and it was very encouraging to me. Thanks for this post!

  3. I believe that there's a common misconception that goes with that phase. People tend to think that it means God won't give us more than we can handle on our own, but that's not the truth. It's what we can handle WITH God, and since all things are possible through Christ Jesus, nothing is too hard or impossible for us.

  5. I like that song too because of that line :) It is so true that God has you go through things to have you grow and grow closer to Him and usually if you let Him when it ends you feel stronger than when you began :) I have been praying for you and will continue to. God has a purpose for this and hopefully it will end soon.
