Does Someone Care?

Lately in my life I have been experiencing many emotions. I will go into depth on just one of the issues I have been experiencing lately. My whole life I have felt care and concern from many in my life, but never did I feel like it was focused towards me. I always felt like the concern was for my family in general and I just wanted one person who truly cared just for me and out of love and not just because they had to. I wanted someone who loved me and always wanted to be with me no matter what. I felt that way with my immediate family, but I wanted someone other than just my Mom or Sister who cared.

I think we all sometimes overlook the small things in our lives and take forgranted how loved we are. Love is such a strong word and we overuse it so much that it doesn't mean as much as it should. I know I take forgranted the love that my mom and sister have for me and I know I shouldn't. Another thing that I take forgranted is God's love for me. I know that God loves me but I can't seem to comprehend just how much He does. It makes me feel upset inside because I often feel so unloved, but I long for others to love me here on earth because I feel like God's love for me I can't see as much and I can't feel it the same way as often as love from actual people.

Have you ever wanted someone to care for you? just one person who truly cares? It sure seems like there is nobody who always seems to care or understand. I feel like someone always lets me down in some way or another- we all do! We are human and we can't always be there for someone. But you know what, God isn't human, so He is always there for us no matter what. When we feel alone, He is right beside us reassuring us it is okay. When we feel unloved He reminds us that He loves us and that is all that matters. When we are feeling afraid, we know that He will guide us and will give us the courage we need to fight. When we are weary and tired, He will allow us to find the strength through Him to continue on. 

Please know that if you are feeling like you want just one person to understand your feelings or thoughts, know that you can always go to God 24/7 and He will listen to you no matter what. And know that I'm here too if you ever need someone to listen to how your day went or just want someone to understand how you are feeling. I don't mind listening.
