Changes

Change is something that we all face in our life at one point in time. Some changes may be good, while others are harder to get used to. I don't like changes and I hate getting used to different things in my life. I like when things stay the same and don't change. Just when I am getting used to things how they are, there is another change that comes along and I have to get used to it. I wish things could just stay the same and I didn't have to worry about things being different.

Well, we don't have to worry about one thing changing- and that is God. He will never change. He always stays the same and remains constant. Isn't it so nice knowing that no matter how much time comes between you and God, He will never change. He will be the same as He was centuries ago.

Recently my sister came home from college (her first year away from home) and it was hard seeing her act differently than when we grew up together. She didn't change much- but I just felt like she wasn't the same as she used to be. I hate when things change like that- why can't people stay the same? But it is so reassuring that God stays the same and He will never change!!!!

Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

  5. This is a good post. You are right about our lives changing. Mine sure did the day my sweet husband Ben passed away. We all have plans in our head about what I lives are going to be like and then something happens that totally changes those plans and we end up taking a totally different journey.

  8. oh, i want to cry ... i so understand change is tough... but the little kid in me says that all the time. life is tough & GOD is good. i've lost so many people & friends in my life ... so i can sympathize. a best friend. she supported me so but i have to know in my heart she felt it was best. i did all i could do ... it was her decision but it still hurts. i hope over time you will see how the change is good. i pray it so. big big hugs to you Britt. you messages are a burst of fresh energy. they so make me think & feel happy. & with such joy. at the moment it makes you feel raw to the core but in time it will change. patience. (my hubby always jokes, but i'm not a doctor, & have no patience's) i work on that daily. take care. great post. thanks. (:
