Faith is How I See

Something that I have been thinking of lately is angels. It is so neat to think about how they are all around us, but we can't see them. I remember when my dad passed away and my Mom, sister, my dog and I were up in my Mom's room. I can still remember my dog (Taffy, a golden retriever) was sitting on my Mom's bed and looked out into the hall like she saw someone out there. It was the strangest and coolest thing I remember seeing.

Just like we can't see angels all around us, that is how it is with God. He is here with us always and His presence is so much more meaningful than angels. Isn't it nice to know that you can have a personal relationship with the God of the universe? I know people who are so well known and popular that they don't even care about the small people since they are so famous, but God will never be like that. He always cares just for you and all your needs. He never will forget you or leave you alone!

I remember the night right after my Dad died, my Mom was sleeping in her bed and my dog slept right up beside her on the bed-where my dad used to lay. My dog never laid up that close to my Mom before and usually got off the bed at night. But the night after my Dad died- it was like God had my dog go up beside my Mom and comfort her and was telling her it was going to be okay. God has shown His presence in so many things and it is neat to see Him working- sometimes it just takes a little bit of looking to see all that He has done!!

Have a great Tuesday guys, thanks for visiting!!

  3. Thanks Hannah! Glad you liked it! :)

Kay- I think that about my dad too. I think that our loved ones are looking down on us and are watching what is happening, even though we can't see them- I know that might not be how it really is, but I at least like to think that. Thanks for sharing Kay!
