Maybe it feels like every road in your life is a dead end and it always seems like God is closing doors but you never feel like He opens any? Maybe you feel like your life right now doesn't seem to have any purpose or plan; you're just living one day to the next and everything you do seems meaningless. Maybe you feel like you are in this waiting period and you aren't sure what God is expecting from you right now?
It often gets hard when it seems like God keeps closing doors in your life to opportunities you wish would occur, but you don't feel God's direction. It's difficult to have hope and trust that God knows what He is doing when it seems like every road is a dead end. Sometimes it is hard to have any confidence in the direction your life is headed because you never know when the road will quickly change direction and it could be another dead end like the rest.
Even though your life may seem like it's filled with dead ends and closed doors, God is always working and He will make a way. Even though it feels like every road is a dead end, God has purpose to what you are going through. There is a reason that you are on the road you are on. You are put where you are for a reason. We may have to endure some dead ends, closed doors and wait on Him for direction, but if we are seeking Him and following His will we know that all things are for our best and are worth the pain we endure.
It may get hard waiting for the right time and it may seem like we have to wait forever. But when we wait and remain patient, God will reward our obedience to Him and those things we have been seeking will be even more valuable to us. Just because we desire things in our lives doesn't mean it's God's timing for us to have them yet. If we rush things and "jump the gun" our plans will not succeed and the things we desired may not go how we planned because we acted prematurely. But when we wait for God's perfect timing and rely on Him to take control of our lives, things will work out according to His will.
Seek after God and rely on Him during this time in your life. If your life feels like a dead end, ask God to direct you and lead you where He wants you. When we seek after God He will always lead us and make a way, even when it seems impossible! It may not be immediately and it may not be how you wanted, but God is working even when you don't see it, don't lose heart or give up. Keep trusting and pursuing after God, He is there!

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.
