Bible Study {week 7}

So, today it is time for another Bible Study Linkup again : )

TEXT HERE

I was trying to think of what subject to do it on, so I decided to do endurance. I don't know about you all, but I sure have been having a bit of trouble with endurance lately with college and homework and all. Right now is kind of like a time where I don't feel like trying anymore and I just want to give up and take a break from it all. So, hopefully you all can apply or relate to this week's topic!

Just as we are tested in school and go through studying and all for the exams of education, we also are tested and tried by trials and circumstances in life. If we don't study God's Word and seek Him, we will not pass the trial very well. It helps to know God and study His Word through times of trial. During these times of trials and tests it is hard to keep enduring and preserving. A verse that really helps us understand this concept is....

By Livia LazarJames 1:3-4.
"For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing."

Here we see that when we face trials and many tests we are indeed seeing how strong our endurance and trust is in God. Endurance is such a hard thing to work on because it truly takes a patient, hardworking person who keeps going despite all that is in chaos around you. But please know that when you face so much stress and circumstances in your life, know that God will give you the strength you need to encounter them. He is testing your endurance by allowing you to grow closer to Him and also to benefit you. Yeah, I know that sounds kind of weird how you can benefit from trials, but they do allow us to grow closer to God- but only if we have the right outlook on them and go through them with the right attitude. Our attitude and outlook on things changes everything!

So, if you feel like you are over your head with stress, schedules, things that have to get done, places to go.....take time to take a deep breath and look to God and know that He will help you get through and is allowing you to face all this for increasing your endurance and perseverance. Don't give up yet, you didn't work this hard to watch it all go to waste. Keep going and in the end you will see all that you accomplished.

I thought I would mention this song as well with today's post, since I was thinking of it as I was posting this. click HERE to check it out : )

Okay, now for the questions for this week:
1. what verse could you find on endurance that really was impacting?
2. When did you face (or are currently facing) a task/trial that tested your endurance?
3. What helps you to keep enduring through hard times?
4. Did you ever give up on something and wish you had kept going?

Well, that's all the questions. Please feel free to link up below! I'd love to see your thoughts on this subject and your answers too!
