A Sincere Thank You {poem}

Looking at a blank screen wondering what to write

Even though there are so many thoughts swirling around in my mind tonight

But, tonight Lord I’ve decided that I want to just thank You

I want to say thank You for always providing the people I need to get me through

Thank You for showing me love when I do not appreciate it

Thank You for giving me a second chance when I decided to give up and quit

Thank You for those special people in my life who love me and care

And for the great times we get to share

Thank You for my family most of all

They are the ones who help me up through every pitfall
 And I don’t know what I would do without them all

Thank You Lord for those who share words of kindness

And whose actions are precious and priceless

Thank You Lord for reminding me that there are some people out there who really care

And yes, there are those who will always be there

Even when goodbyes leave me upset and lonesome

I remember what is yet to come

Those whom I love, who have become saved,

 I will spend eternity with for all of my days 

We can spend forever together

And not have to say goodbye for forever!

Thank You Lord for a future after death on this earth

And thank You for allowing others to make me remember my worth

Thank You for your presence and Your touch of love

Reminding me that there are those who also love me from up above

Thank You for reminding me that You are here with me right now

It reassures me and makes me feel so important somehow

I just wanted to write this poem for You Lord,

To thank You for showing me Your love through others

Your constant love through people’s actions and words

Helps get me through life and makes me feel treasured

No words can express my gratitude

Except a sincere and grateful thank You!
