We often get caught up in the minor details of each day and focus on those things entirely. We worry, fear, criticize, complain, gossip, splurge...all different stuff that we do that often takes our minds off why we were placed here on this earth. I know I often get so caught up in everyday life and trying to get through college and be successful that I often don't solely focus on my true purpose.
Spiritual perspective gives us an advantage and shows us that we have more than this life. We will not fully understand the meaning of everything that happens in our lifetime right now- but soon enough it will all make sense and we will see the full perspective. For example, a zoomed in pixelated photograph is hard to tell what the full picture is, but when fully zoomed out we can see the full picture and understand it better.
So this week remember to keep your perspective on God and not on things that will pass away when we reach heaven. Something that you could ask yourself is- will this really matter when I reach heaven? Many of the things that I often feel are so important are the "no" answers to this question. We get so caught up in meeting expectations and requirements to please others and make ourselves look good that we often forget about working on the inside of our lives to make us successful and sincere Christians. Well, hopefully you all will have a great start to your week and I hope that this post could be of some encouragement!
2 Corinthians 4:16
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal
